ABOUT JACKIE: A PROFESSIONAL RESUME WRITER

I am a Northern NJ-based resume service located in Madison, NJ. I provide phone and web-based assistance to clients nationwide. JACKIE’S EXPERIENCE

I have more than 10 years of experience as a professional resume writer.  I have edited, reviewed, and revised hundreds of resumes for professionals in all areas, including but not limited to marketing/sales, digital media marketing, education, real estate management, supply chain, logistics/distribution, nursing/dental, pharmacy, the insurance industry, operations management, the fine arts, finance, the pharmaceutical industry, the fashion industry, the music industry, fine wines/luxury goods (including Gucci, Oscar de la Renta, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Jaguar), students in college nearing graduation, medical professionals (medical billing and UR), advertising, human services, and social services.  I have assisted clients who have been out of the work force for several years as well, including stay at home moms returning to work, in addition to clients who have gaps in employment due to being unable to work.  I have also worked with a number of clients in law enforcement. I really enjoy helping clients achieve their career goals and working together to create a resume that is targeted and will make you stand out.

I’m currently a part-time student at Harvard University, Harvard Extension School, pursuing the ALM degree in Management. I completed CORe at Harvard Business School Online this fall. CORe (Credential of Readiness) is a 150-hour certificate program on the fundamentals of business from Harvard Business School. CORe is comprised of three courses: Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting, developed by leading Harvard Business School faculty.

I’m a graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University (BA, Psychology).  I have an MA in Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

HOW DID I GET HERE?

After graduate school, I worked in mental health counseling for several years.  My focus was in addictions counseling in a hospital-based setting.  I also had the opportunity to teach educational lectures on various topics to help people improve their lives.  I found teaching people to take positive steps to improve their lives and reach their goals was a very rewarding experience.  After spending the past several years reviewing resumes for a variety of fields, I decided to focus on sharing the skills I have learned with others to help them reach their career goals.

No one should have to be unemployed or “stuck” in a job they don’t find rewarding.
